Caro Maestro Luisi, lo scorso febbraio ho avuto il piacere e l’onore di suonare “Der Rosenkavalier” diretto da Lei, a Genova (sono violinista dell’orchestra del Teatro).
Per me una delle più belle gratificazioni della mia carriera professionale!

We are all in your debt for yet another rather lovely recording of the music of the great Franz Schmidt – this time the works for piano and orchestra.
There is one very large “hole” in the Schmidt discography, of course: the opera Fredigundis. Are there any plans for this astonishing work to be recorded now? You would be just the man to achieve this.

Dear Fabio,
Your musical direction of the Egyptian Helena by R. Strauss took my breath away. I listened to the performance on SIRIUS radio in Los Angeles. I am amazed at you brilliant conducting of such a difficult score. Every nuance and shape of phrasing was evident. Such a joy to listen to. Is there a chance you may take over as the Met\’s new musical director? I have my money on you. Mille Grazie for your attention to detail with the Strauss.

Hello Mr.Luisi
I had a wonderful concert on the New Year’s first at Konerthaus in Wien.
That Beethovens Neunte Symphonie was Great !! I’ve never heard like that Wonderful Nineth Symphony before.
I felt so Happy,because beable to have a dream to make a piece all over the world, all men will become brother by your nicer music. as this Symphony.
I have sung this song with orchestra over 30times, and listtened hundrds but It was a Best One. Thank you very much. I am looking forward to join your concert soon.

To The Maestro,
I know the Cleveland Orchestra is one of the great orchestras but last night’s performance of Beethoven’s 9th was a disappointment compared to the Vienna Symphony’s performance on the 1st of January. Thank you for one of the most memorable performances of my lifetime.

Comment exprimer par les mots la joie immense éprouvée lors de votre interprétation sublime de la 9ème Symphonie de Beethoven, á Vienne, le 30 décembre 2006, si ce n’est, d’une part en vous disant que j’ai assisté á votre mème concert le lendemain (31 décembre), d’autre part en citant Marcel Proust:
“La musique est peut-ètre l’exemple de ce qu’aurait pu ètre – s’il n’y avait pas eu l’invention du langage, la formation des mots, l’analyse des idées – la communication des âmes.”
